Chemical anchor accessories: rod grade, sleeve, resin is buyer-side

A chemical-anchor enquiry is a bonded path: threaded rod (and often sleeve or mesh) plus resin the buyer names. It is not a dry undercut desk and not a screws→bolts→nuts warehouse SKU. Lock rod fields and keep resin buyer-specified before any unit price is useful.

Define · what this RFQ is for

Use this guide when the print calls a chemical or bonded path into concrete, masonry, or a called substrate — rod + resin, with or without sleeve / mesh / foil tube — for stone cladding backup, soffit brackets, or structural base plates. You own substrate engineering and the approved resin list; we confirm metal accessory fields against the print and quantity band.

If the node is dry undercut mechanical into stone, use undercut stone RFQ (G4) instead — do not mix the two desks in one quote thread. Pair also with load-path primer and drawing handoff, then open Enquire / RFQ.

Discuss · fields that change the quote

Each row below is a desk check. Missing rows stay Open — we do not invent resin brands, ETA numbers, or plant metrics on this site.

Field desk · 01–06

Copy into RFQ notes
  1. Rod diameter / length / grade Sets the steel package. Write the print callout (e.g. M12 × 160, grade band) — not a catalog guess. Length must cover embedment plus fixture / plate thickness.
    • Email example: Rod: M16 × 190 mm, A4-70 (Rev D node C-08)
    • If missing: Open — no final price
  2. Thread / cut-length note Full thread vs partial; cut length vs stock length. Must match embedment depth and the nutting face on the fixture.
    • Email example: Full thread; embedment 110 mm into C30/37; 40 mm above plate
    • If missing: ask for section detail
  3. Sleeve / mesh / foil tube Some nodes call a perforated sleeve, mesh, or foil cartridge path; others are bare rod into a drilled hole. Mark which accessory path the print uses.
    • Email example: Perforated sleeve Ø18 × 130 with M16 rod (print note)
    • If missing: call out or Open — do not assume a sleeve brand
  4. Resin / adhesive — buyer-side Resin brand, ETA, or approved list stays on the buyer side. We do not invent or recommend a resin name on this public page. Put your project-approved product (or “buyer to advise”) in the RFQ notes.
    • Email example: Resin: per project approved list (buyer-specified); metal package only this RFQ
    • If silent: still mark buyer-side — Open for resin, quote metal accessories only when agreed
  5. Environment / cure window Temperature band, wet hole, or dust notes change what the site can install — even when resin is buyer-named. Capture the project note; do not invent cure times here.
    • Email example: Site: +5 to +15 °C; wet-hole note on method statement
  6. Qty band & use Discussion band is enough for the first reply: mock-up set, one elevation, or project lot.
    • Email example: Qty band: mock-up 60 rods → project lot TBD

Two desks — do not mix

  • Chemical / bonded (this page) — rod + buyer-side resin ± sleeve into a drilled substrate.
  • Dry undercut mechanical — see G4 undercut stone RFQ; panel thickness, kerf, edge distance.
  • If the print is unclear which path applies, state Open and attach the section before asking for one number.

Agree · before we number

Until the following are aligned, treat any figure as discussion only:

  • Controlling revision on the node detail (see drawing handoff)
  • Resin remains buyer-specified unless a private RFQ names an approved list you already hold
  • Chemical path vs dry undercut (G4) is settled — one desk per quote thread
  • Samples, packing, and private-label marking only after rod fields 01–02 are clear

We do not invent ISO, CE, IATF, plant area, or ranking badges here. Project documents that matter to the RFQ are shared privately when relevant.
